In 2023, our newsrooms provided critical get-out-the-vote information and news to communities across Wisconsin and Virginia. In those elections, voters delivered big wins for progressive causes and candidates, including the right to have an abortion.
We wouldn’t have had the resources to play an important role in these elections without your help. In 2024, our job is even tougher – this time, we’re hiring journalists and running newsrooms in 10 battleground states, the most we’ve ever had up and running in an election year.
And that’s not all — ahead of the 2024 election, we want to expand and serve even more voters who live in communities where right-wing election lies and conspiracy theories are spreading.
