In order for our campaign to meet the moment as we near our first deadline of the election year, we need to slightly revise our game plan.

This morning, I reviewed our numbers from this time last cycle and used that as a guide for where we need to be at this point in this election — and we’re falling $2,195 short. But we can work with this!

It might sound like a tall order, but we can absolutely hit our target if folks step up and do their small part by midnight Wednesday.

We can reach our January fundraising goal together and quickly in one of two ways:

1. More folks step up to chip in at least $1
   OR
2. Supporters give a few more dollars before our deadline

John, you know that asking for your contribution is not my nor Lauren’s favorite thing, but it is my job and I will always be straightforward with you on what our team needs to succeed.
