Appointment Changes Announced
For the next few months upcoming changes to clergy appointments will be announced routinely on the Missouri Conference website. Pending appointments are posted after the local congregations have been informed about moves. Typically, appointments transition following the “Fixing of Appointments” service at the conclusion of Annual Conference Session in June, with clergy starting at their new appointments on the first Sunday of July. Clear Opens
Like last year, this year during appointment announcements the Missouri Conference will again highlight “Clear Opens.” Clear opens are churches where it is publicly known that there will be a pastoral transition often due to retirement or a leave of absence. The Conference will publish clear opens on our website to allow Missouri Conference pastors and non-Missouri clergy an opportunity to express their interest in a particular appointment.
