Dear Mr. xxxxxx,
I wanted to pass along my latest update on what I have been doing to fight for you, Texas’ 21st Congressional District, and our country as a whole:
Come and Cut It.
Texas has a duty under the Constitution, and every other norm of leadership of any sovereign state, to protect it’s citizens. There is not exception to that. And if the Supreme Court wants to ignore that truth – which a slim majority did – Texas still has the duty to defend their people. I stand with Governor Abbott and Texas to go to whatever lengths necessary to protect their state.
We can’t keep funding a government at war with Texas
The House and Senate keep funding a government that is at war with Texans. Enough is enough. I am calling on Republicans to stand up to secure this border – today. The Senate wants to cut a deal with Mayorkas that will do nothing to end this crisis. Any deal they want to cut that does nothing to secure the border is dead on arrival when it gets to the House. Congress has the power of the purse and we’re going to use it to secure our southern border!
WHO: Worst Health Organization
The COVID-19 pandemic exposed the corruption at the World Heatlh Organization (WHO), its deep-rooted ties to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), and its stranglehold on the American public health regime. Instead of further legitimizing the WHO by making the United States a party to a new pandemic treaty, the Biden administration should withdraw from this organization (as the previous administration wisely did), cease all support for the WHO, and hold it accountable for its myriad failures. That’s why I called on the Department of Health and Human Services to reject the new pandemic treaty with the WHO.
