Hey: This is completely unacceptable. Sen. Richard Burr (R-NC), head of the powerful Senate Intelligence Committee, sold off 33 stocks in mid-February after private briefings on the threat of coronavirus, totalling between $628k and $1.72 million. This came a week after he told the American public that the country was “better prepared than ever before” -- contrary to the privileged information disclosed to him in the hearings.
 
We are calling on Sen. Burr to resign -- and we’re not alone. Fox News host Tucker Carlson and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are in rare agreement that what Burr did is immoral and a betrayal of the public trust in a time of crisis.
