With Donald Trump on track to win the Republican presidential primary, our work together this year isn’t just about re-electing President Joe Biden and defending our DFL trifecta. It’s about protecting our very democracy and affirming our fundamental American values.

From banning books to attacking the LGBTQ+ community to ripping away reproductive rights and more, the entire Republican Party has fallen deeply out of step with a large majority of Americans. But even so, it’s clear that we have an extremely tough fight ahead of us between now and November 5.

Poll after poll shows Trump running even with President Biden in Minnesota, and the Trump campaign is openly targeting us as one of its key “battlegrounds.” 

I promise to continue doing all I can to raise my voice and hold the line. But with the mountains of right-wing money headed our way in the coming months, I need you with me more than ever.
