- Adam flipped a Republican seat blue in the most expensive congressional race in history at the time — becoming the first Democrat to represent his community since Franklin Roosevelt was President.
- Adam served as Chair of the House Intelligence Committee and as the lead impeachment manager in Trump’s Senate trial before serving on the January 6 Committee — and then last year, Kevin McCarthy removed him from the Intel Committee and Republicans censured him as political payback and under threat from Donald Trump.
