One in six households are about to learn that funding for their affordable internet service is expected to run out in April.

The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) has helped nearly 23 million low-income families and individuals stay online.

If Congress doesn’t act quickly, this would mean families who receive free and reduced cost school lunch, low-income veterans, and many others could lose their internet access in a few short months. This could affect virtual public school classes, online medical appointments, and other crucial activities that require internet service.

You can help. You can tell your lawmakers to save the ACP. There’s a bill before Congress—the Affordable Connectivity Program Extension Act (HR 6929/S 3565)—that would provide the funds to extend the program through 2024.

Please urge Congress to help financially-strapped consumers keep their internet access. Contact your lawmakers now.
