You see, in Austin Texas in May 2020, BLM rioters were vandalizing and looting buildings, destroying vehicles, and causing absolute mayhem in the Texas State Capitol and other downtown areas.
One thug was caught with a Molotov cocktail and dozens of violent protestors were arrested.
It took nearly all of the city’s 2,100-strong police force to keep the city from descending into total anarchy.
Some of the protesters were blocking traffic, and Officer Jeffery Teng and his fellow officers were instructed to push the protestors off of the freeway…
…and that’s when the protesters began pelting the police with rocks and other projectiles. One of them even struck Officer Teng’s partner in the chest.
Officer Teng and his partner deployed non-lethal bean bag rounds at the rioters that were attempting to harm and even kill him and his partner.
But for the progressive District Attorney José Garza, the rioters were not the criminals — but Officer Teng and the other police trying to stop the riot were!
Garza slapped over 20 Austin officers with felony charges for their efforts to maintain order in Austin during unprecedented rioting.
