Dear Community Partner:

Each year, millions of U.S. consumers become victims of identity theft, a crime in which thieves use stolen personal information, such as a Social Security number, to impersonate their victims. When the crime is discovered, identity thieves move on, leaving their victims to deal with the damage.

In honor of Identity Theft Awareness Week (Jan. 29 - Feb. 2), we've teamed up with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to produce the "FTC tools to protect yourself and recover from identity theft" video in English and Spanish.

Please share the video with your clients and network to help spread the word on how to spot, avoid, report and recover from identity theft.
