The Supreme Court recently sided with the Biden administration, allowing federal Border Patrol agents to cut through the razor wire installed by the state so they can reach migrants in distress.
In response, Abbott and several other Republicans state leaders
indicated they might defy that ruling, setting up a dangerous constitutional crisis.
