Symposium on Voting Rights: Our Past, Our Present, Our Future at the University of St. Thomas.
Please note: We have reached capacity and sold out tickets to attend in person. But good news!
You can now join the event virtually; sign up HERE, and you will receive the Zoom link by email.
The symposium will convene a diverse and influential gathering of voting rights academics, thought leaders, students, community members, and political figures to engage in deep and meaningful conversations about the evolution of voting rights in Minnesota. We will look back at our history, tackle the challenges our democracy currently faces, explore critical reforms and opportunities, and work together to build a more representative and inclusive future for our state and our country.
We’re excited to share that Secretary Simon will join the panel on voting rights and Attorney General Ellison will deliver closing remarks. For a full list of speakers, see the registration page and invite below.
Please register at fairvotemn.org/symposium and share the event link with friends and colleagues!
We do need volunteers to help staff the event, and if you are able to help please sign up HERE.
As we begin Black history month on February 1, we hope you can be part of this seminal event to build a more inclusive, multiracial democracy in our state and for our future.
We hope to see you on February 1!
