'Red to Blue’ districts are considered the most strategically important in our effort to flip seats and retake the House. Here are two reasons why George made the cut:

⇒ George is a strong candidate. From his experience serving as Chief of Staff at NASA to his work creating hundreds of local jobs and addressing wildfires as non-profit leader -- George has a unique track record and would make a welcome addition to Democratic caucus.

⇒ CA-27 is winnable. There are few Republican-held districts in the country likelier to flip blue in 2024 than CA-27. It's a purple district that President Biden won by 12 percentage points in 2020, yet Mike Garcia has consistently voted with the far-right and alienated thousands in our community.
