What to Expect: A Seamless Transition?
Starting Feb. 1, staff will initiate efforts to switch the website's domain to kitsap.gov The transition will be relatively seamless. There will be no significant changes to the website or its online services, however, people are encouraged to update their website bookmarks to reflect the new domain. ?

"A .gov domain is only provided to legitimate US-based government entities, and this provides Kitsap County with a more secure and trusted presence for our community content," said the county's information services director Craig Adams.?
