I recently had the pleasure to speak with one of the most important rural leaders in the country – and the only working farmer in the United States Senate – Jon Tester.

Jon is a One Country Project Rural Champion who has never shied away from putting rural, agricultural, family farms, and small businesses first.

Take a listen! [[link removed]]

The big difference between Republican and Democratic farm policy boils down to the idea of "get big or get out!" A mantra that leaves family farms and small farming operations in the dust in favor of a system that skews toward mass corporate farming conglomerates.

And that's why Jon is so passionate about agriculture policy and crafting a Farm Bill that keeps real people and real farmers in mind.

Listen to our conversation with Sen. Tester and learn more about one of the closest and toughest races for the Senate anywhere in the country. [[link removed]]

See you over there,

Heidi
