There are some things that never change…including GOP attempts to gut the Affordable Care Act (ACA), also known as ‘Obamacare.’
More than a decade after it was signed into law, far-right figures from Donald Trump to our very own part-time senator Ted Cruz have championed efforts to weaken if not outright repeal the ACA. If they were ever successful, millions of Americans could see their health coverage disappear overnight.
This comes as a record 21.3 million Americans have flocked to sign up for 2024 — including in several deep red states, further cementing the law’s role in the country’s healthcare landscape.
Despite the ACA’s widespread popularity, even among GOP voters, this has not stopped the GOP’s crusade of taking away healthcare for millions of Americans.
So what do we do?
We can start by ensuring that the Senate remains in Democratic hands. To do that, our grassroots movement to Cut Cruz from the Senate this November will need to have the resources necessary to make this dream a reality. Can you help us by chipping in $5 today?
