You hear from us on every email and text message that the next upcoming deadline is critical.
And they are, friend. But I want to tell you why we say that every month, every midnight deadline, on every election.
In 2020 and 2022, WisDems narrowly elected President Biden and re-elected Governor Tony Evers by incredibly slim margins.
Every ounce of that victory was because of our team pitching in at the last minute to knock doors, chip in a few bucks before a deadline, or asking one more person to vote.
2024 won’t be any different. Re-electing President Biden, taking back the legislature, and electing Democrats in every seat will come down to nail-biter moments.
If we fall short on even one deadline this year, that small margin of victory will become a margin of defeat, friend.
That’s how close these races are. If we’re going to win in 2024 then we need our team to hit every goal so we can build the resources to elect Democrats and mobilize voters in every Wisconsin community.
