Folks,
It’s been a busy week here at ADP. But before I dive in further, I have to ask — can you pitch in $5 or more right now to help us finish January even stronger than we began?

Last week, we held a press conference to recognize the 51st anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision, which guaranteed a right to privacy in healthcare for more than five decades.
Like I said at the press conference, this fight is only the beginning — not only are we going to cement access to abortion in our state constitution, we’re working to flip the state legislature blue and build a pro-choice majority that will continue to make sure that abortion care is accessible for anyone who needs it.
Donald Trump has touted the end of Roe as one of his highest achievements, and in the nearly two years since the Dobbs decision that overturned Roe v. Wade, Arizonans have been forced to live under an extreme ban on abortion, with absolutely NO exceptions for rape or incest. Even ahead of the Dobbs ruling, our extremist, right-wing state legislature passed an extreme abortion ban that was signed into law by then Governor Doug Ducey.
Now we’re under an even fiercer attack from the right, and Republicans are working to reinstate a ban on abortion care that predates Arizona’s statehood. Electing pro-choice champions like Governor Hobbs and Attorney General Mayes in 2022 was absolutely vital to ensuring that these dangerous bans weren’t enforced.
According to the latest reports, we’re finally getting a peek at how these dangerous bans in 14 states are impacting some of the most vulnerable among us, and it’s a terrifying reality, take a look for yourself:
“[Dr. Samuel Dickman, an abortion provider in Texas along with other abortion researchers] estimate in a research letter published Wednesday in JAMA Internal Medicide that 64,565 pregnancies have been caused by rape in the 14 states where abortion in banned.”

MAGA Republicans want to make this Arizona’s reality. Whether it’s Rep. Juan Ciscomani (AZ-06), Rep. David Schweikert (AZ-01), Kari Lake or Donald Trump — Republicans have repeatedly called for an extreme, national ban on abortion care.
This doesn’t have to be our future, but we have to stand up TODAY to elect pro-choice champions up and down the ballot. Team, if you’re a part of the pro-choice majority, please pitch in before we close the books on January.
