"One Dream, One Minnesota" week long event, hosted by the Office of Equity, Opportunity, and Accessibility, was a resounding success in honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s enduring legacy. The week-long celebration brought together diverse voices and talents, highlighting the state's commitment to equity and community.

The Toxic Free Kids Program at the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) is conducting a needs assessment to identify areas of need and prioritization for the program. Through the Toxic Free Kids (TFK) program, MDH is working to identify and communicate the potential for hazardous chemical exposures which could be harmful to human health, particularly to vulnerable or susceptible populations, such as children and pregnant women.?
Currently, the TFK program is looking to conduct twenty key informant interviews with community leaders or health professionals who have experience working with parents/caregivers, families, pregnant people, and children. We anticipate completing these interviews in the spring.?The key informant interviews conducted in this needs assessment will inform ongoing projects and future work for our program.
The key informant interviews will take place virtually and should take no longer than 30-50 minutes.

El Programa de Ni?os Libres de T?xicos del Departamento de Salud de Minnesota (MDH) est? realizando una evaluaci?n de necesidades para identificar ?reas de necesidad y priorizaci?n para el programa. Anticipamos completar estas entrevistas en la primavera.
