Let me tell you about my colleague and friend Mikie Sherrill.

She's a former Navy helicopter pilot, a former federal prosecutor, and the mother of four. Needless to say, she's no stranger to challenges.

She's also not afraid to tackle those challenges head-on.

And others have taken notice. That's why the people of New Jersey's 11th elected her last year, flipping a critical battleground district.

Washington Republicans have taken notice of Mikie's tenacity, too. They've seen what a tough fighter she is, and they're scared. They'll do everything they can to defeat her.

While Democrats are focused on who the presidential nominee will be, National Republicans are channeling all of their energy and efforts toward unseating Mikie and taking back the House Majority, so they can hold on to their power no matter who ends up in the White House after 2020. And they've raised millions of dollars to do it.
