** Resources for dealing with Covid-19
------------------------------------------------------------
You already know to wash your hands and practice social distancing, but what about loss of wages and all the struggles that follow? Here's a list of resources for people in NJ who need help right now.
* First and most importantly, a lot of information can be found on New Jersey's Covid 19 Information Hub ([link removed]) , where you can find updates, links to how to get assistance and other useful information.
* Were your hours reduced, or you lost your job? NJ's "Covid-19 Scenarios and Benefits Available ([link removed]) " (pdf) list will let you know what is available to you.
* For Employees in New Jersey ([link removed]) , find out your rights and what benefits you can apply for.
* For Employers and Small Business Owners ([link removed]) , find out what you can do to help your employees and yourself.
* In addition, please be aware that NJ has ordered all evictions and foreclosures to be stopped ([link removed]) for now. No one will be forced out of their home during this time.
* Also, nationwide, tax day has now been moved from April to July ([link removed]) , to give everyone some breathing room during this crisis.

* Sign this petition to release ICE detainees in New Jersey ([link removed]) . "We call on our ICE and our county elected officials in Bergen, Essex and Hudson to push for a release of those detained at the county jails on their own recognizance so that they can safely shelter in place with their families and reduce the spread of this dangerous pandemic."
* If you're in the Union County general area, there is a group of people from various groups who have joined forces to help sew medical masks for the Atlantic Health System. They have been in touch with a doctor from AHS and these homemade masks will be used as needed so they can keep their dwindling supply of regular masks for the people who really need them. This is a secret Facebook group, so if you want to join, reply to this email and let us know who you are on Facebook and we'll get you added.
There's also a statewide group of sewers making these masks on this public Facebook group ([link removed]) .
In addition, there's a group of people organizing homemade medical masks nation-wide. Information on how to join here ([link removed]) .
