Fifty-one years ago this month, the Supreme Court issued its landmark decision in Roe v. Wade, protecting the constitutional right to reproductive health choices. Americans had the constitutional right to abortion for nearly 50 years. Almost two years ago, a new set of partisan, political justices overturned that decision.

Now, abortion is nearly completely banned in 14 states and 7 more states have enacted harsh restrictions.

The good news: We can fight back and win–we’ve been witnessing this across the country since the Court ripped away our constitutional right. Many states have passed measures for a constitutional amendment to protect abortion and there is a growing movement for structural reform to the Supreme Court.
