Name,
I wanted to share a quick update on where our campaign stands: With just over 9,000 online donations made to date, our most common grassroots donation is just $25. This is truly a people-powered campaign – we will never accept corporate donations.
Now, I’m reaching out today because this Wednesday at midnight we’re coming up on our January end-of-month fundraising deadline.
This fundraising deadline is important because I’ve committed to being a different kind of candidate, and a different kind of representative. I’m not accepting corporate donations because I’m running to represent you, the people of IL-11 – not special interests.
But, that puts us at a disadvantage because Bill Foster has no qualms about taking money from companies like Amazon, Walgreens, and Lockheed Martin. I’m relying on your help. With less than 8 weeks left until Election Day, and a major deadline coming up on Wednesday, can you make our average donation of $25 to our campaign right now?
We’re going to win and bring new representation to IL-11, and we’re going to do it together.
Thanks for all you do,
Qasim
