Nearly 12 years ago, I won my first election by standing up for working families and the middle class; to be someone more focused on results than rhetoric.

Much has changed since I first ran, but my values have never wavered. Over a decade later, as Chair of the DCCC, I’m committed to continuing the fight for children and families and powering Democratic wins across the country.

The stakes were always high, but in this election, they couldn’t be higher. From healthcare to abortion rights to the economy, extreme Republicans in the House have been playing politics with the lives of our children, families, and most vulnerable communities.

They brought our government to the verge of multiple government shutdowns, they continue to push extreme policies to get our nation closer to a national abortion ban, and they’ve put our democracy in danger by rallying around a serially indicted, insurrectionist former president.
