John,
In 2004, the Federal Assault Weapons Ban -- which banned the manufacture of 19 military-style assault weapons, assault weapons with specific combat features, "copy-cat" models, and certain high-capacity ammunition magazines of more than 10 rounds -- was allowed to expire.
What happened later? Mass shootings skyrocketed. Check it out, John -- the numbers don't lie.
It's clear that common-sense gun legislation works. Share this post to help spread the word that Americans deserve action NOW, and it's time for the Senate to protect the American people -- not the gun lobby.
Thanks,
Team Evans
