EMILYs List began in 1985 when several dozen women pooled their resources to support Democratic pro-choice women running for elected office. Since then, this community has grown exponentially, and supporters like you have helped change the face of American politics.
2024 is an unprecedented presidential election year for our community. In this post-Roe v. Wade America, every race counts in the fight to protect and restore abortion access for millions.
So, as we head into this monumental election year for abortion access, we're doing things a little differently. Instead of setting a typical January End-of-Month dollar amount goal, our team has set a new type of goal: we want to receive 7,500 contributions from supporters like you, John, before midnight on January 31.
The best way to prove that our pro-choice movement is united, motivated, and stronger than ever is by showcasing the power of our grassroots community. Democratic pro-choice women have defeated anti-choice extremism at the ballot box in some of the toughest races thanks to the support of this community — and this year they'll need our help more than ever.
