It’s now a presidential election year and all signs show Donald Trump is the GOP’s likely nominee. We’re sure you don’t need a reminder of all the baggage that comes with Trump, John, but just in case, here are some of his latest antics:
FIRST: Trump said he would be a dictator on his first day back in the White House if re-elected.
THEN: He said he hopes the economy crashes sometime within the next year.
NOW: He bragged about being responsible for the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade .
Of course, that’s not a comprehensive list -- it doesn’t even include his four indictments !
HELP DEFEAT TRUMP & THE GOP [[link removed]]
Trump has made it abundantly clear he’s in this for himself -- not the American people. That’s why he’s rooting for the economy to crash, threatening working Americans’ livelihoods. It’s why he’s proud of his role in taking away access to life-saving reproductive care. And it’s why he’s threatening the democratic foundation of our country.
We can’t afford to go back to the days of Trump in the Oval Office. As long as he has power, he will use it to pit people against each other and undermine our rights and freedoms.
We need to spend the next nine months organizing to save our country from people like Trump. We need to be competitive in every state. And we need to be ready to elect Democrats, from President Biden at the top of the ticket all the way down.
