Right before the NRA's corruption trial began in New York this month, Wayne LaPierre resigned in disgrace. His resignation marks another fallen piece of the crumbling empire that was once the NRA and we won't stop fighting until their reign is over for good.

Wayne LaPierre spent more than three decades leading the NRA’s reign of terror, leaving behind a legacy of corruption, deceit, and destruction. For too long, he and the NRA have cheated U.S. taxpayers in pursuit of an extremist agenda that has made our country less safe. Now, the NRA will finally have to face the consequences of their deadly actions, which could mean the dissolution of the NRA once and for all. But just because the NRA is floundering doesn't mean they'll give up so easily. 

That's why we urgently need your help, friend: We can’t afford more NRA obstruction when background checks, closing deadly loopholes, and an assault weapons ban are all on the line. They will stop lifesaving gun safety bills from being passed and continue the plague of gun violence across our nation. Four years ago, New York attorney general Letitia James began investigating and we’ve seen their organization slowly lose power: Membership is declining, revenue is declining, and their deadly grip on our nation is declining. 

Wayne LaPierre has tried to outrun law but it’s time for him and the nefarious NRA to finally face the consequences for their deadly actions. We know the NRA won't stop fighting to stay alive, but here's the thing: Brady and President Biden have taken on the NRA before and won, and we can do it again.
