With the coronavirus outbreak growing more serious across the country, the

Friend,

With the coronavirus outbreak growing more serious across the country, the
health and safety of our community is my top priority. Coping with the COVID-19
outbreak has been stressful, whether you’re assisting in taking care of
elderly, raising a family, or self-isolating, this crisis is affecting us all.

But we must remember this crisis is not just a public health concern, our
economy is suffering as well. Many have lost their jobs creating a wave of
uncertainty throughout our community. We know this crisis requires swift action
and our people need support now more than ever.

Feeding America has created a COVID-19 Response Fund to support local food
banks here in Pennsylvania and across the nation, distributing food to families
hit the hardest by the outbreak.

Please consider supporting Feeding America as they support community food
banks working to ensure our neighbors get the resources they desperately need.
Donate to Feeding America now.

I am committed to fighting this pandemic which is why I voted in support of an
economic and public health relief package, but we’re also very aware that
families don’t have enough food to fill their pantries right now. Those in our
community shouldn’t have to wonder if they will be able to find their next meal.

If you’re self-isolating or in a high-risk group, donating to Feeding America

is a great way to support the food banks in our community while remaining at
home. Your support will not only help acquire food for distribution, but also
pay for equipment, boxes, and transportation that is essential in these
unprecedented times.

If you are otherwise healthy, in a low-risk group, and engaging in social
distancing, you may also want to consider volunteering at a food bank near you,
as your help is desperately needed.

However you choose to help your neighbors at this critical time, I want you to
know I am doing everything I can in Washington to support relief efforts, fund
free testing kits and critical medical supplies, and put a stop to this global
threat as soon as possible.

I also encourage you to visit www.coronavirus.gov

and ways tokeep yourself and your loved ones safe during this outbreak,
including:

• Washing your hands
• Cleaning frequently touched objects and surfaces
• Avoiding contact with those who are sick
• Staying home if you are sick

Together, we will overcome this crisis just as we have done before.
Thank you and stay well,
Brian Fitzpatrick
