John,
With two GOP presidential primary contests behind us, it appears we are headed into another presidential election with Donald Trump on the ballot.
Republican lawmakers who represent the 17 districts that voted for President Biden now have an important choice to make: Will they back the man their own voters rejected?
The answer for Nick LaLota, without hesitation, is yes.
Last week my opponent became the first Republican from a Biden district to offer his full-throated endorsement of Donald Trump for the Republican nomination.
There is nowhere left for LaLota to hide. His support of a man who is facing 91 criminal charges, incited a deadly insurrection and attempted to overthrow the results of an election he unquestionably lost, is indefensible.
Any Republican who would help Donald Trump get back into the Oval Office is a dangerous extremist and must be voted out.
With your support, we are going to flip NY-01 and win back the House majority for Democrats.
Can I count on you for $50, $25, $10 or any amount to help us finish January strong? Here’s a link:

Nothing about LaLota’s maneuvers is surprising. In his short time in Congress, he has repeatedly aligned with the most extreme elements of his party.
We saw that in his vote for Mike Johnson. After making a show of rejecting Jim Jordan as “too extreme,” LaLota gladly supported someone even more radical – the House architect of Donald Trump’s attempted insurrection – to be the GOP’s new Speaker of the House.
And just like Trump, LaLota complains about issues facing our nation (many of which his party created), but never comes to the table to do the serious work to fix them.
Now that Nick LaLota has endorsed Trump, more of the Biden-17 have begun to follow suit. They have clearly made their choice – and so have we.
The people of this district said no to Donald Trump and his extremism four years ago. This November we will say no
again, and we will send Nick LaLota home with him.
With my thanks,
Nancy
