LOWERING COSTS
Emilia knows that costs are too high for many working families in OH-13. That’s why she’s been working everyday to lower costs for Northeast Ohioans.

She introduced the Lower Your Taxes Act, and co-sponsored the Junk Fee Prevention Act and Social Security 2100 Act to lower costs and put more money back in the pockets of hard working Americans.

DEFENDING OUR FREEDOMS
While extremist Republican members of Congress continue their assault on our freedoms, Emilia is fighting everyday to defend them.

As a co-sponsor of the Women’s Health Protection Act, Emilia is fighting to ensure every woman can make her own reproductive healthcare decisions. She co-sponsored the Freedom to Vote Act to protect voting rights and combat partisan gerrymandering.

PROTECTING OUR COMMUNITY
Emilia is working hard to make OH-13 a safe place to live and work. She introduced the bipartisan RAIL Act to improve rail safety, and led the Safer Homes and Families Act to protect families from abuse.

She’s also a co-sponsor of commonsense gun safety bills to create universal background checks, ban assault weapons, and enact safe storage laws.

PUTTING OH-13 FIRST
Emilia will always put people over politics. Over the past year, Emilia and her team assisted 573 constituents with casework, and sent over 43,000 email responses to constituents about the issues that matter most to them.

As an advocate for Northeast Ohio in Congress, Emilia has been able to return over $2,244,527 back to constituents, and secured $103,506,867 in federal funding for local organizations and governments.
