John, I want to share something important with you.

As you know, the Supreme Court’s Citizens United decision unleashed virtually unlimited sums of cash into our elections process. It has tipped the scales toward special interests and corporations that can essentially buy politicians to get their agenda passed.

This should not have to be said, but massive corporations should not have the free rein to sway our politicians with massive checks -- and that goes for Big Pharma, Big Oil, and Wall St.

I’m proud to share that I have never taken a dime of corporate PAC money in my campaign for Congress – and I never will.

Not everyone in our race can say the same thing, John. Some of our opponents have access to massive sums from special interests. Meanwhile, I’m counting on individual donations from supporters like you.

With our primary election around the corner, it’s critical that we have the funds we need to keep our voter outreach running strong. Will you chip in $3 or any amount to help me keep CA-47 blue? This campaign is by and for the people.
