When AOC was asked about her thoughts on this, she didn’t even try to defend the insane decision:

..but rampant illegal immigration it IS the problem of people that she represents – Americans like you who are just working hard to achieve the dream our Founding Fathers wanted for us.
She can’t get away with staged photo ops at the border and crocodile tears about the plight of the illegal immigrants when she won’t do anything to help the very citizens that are paying her salary.
You and I can see with our own eyes that opening the border has led to disaster for our nation, and it’s only going to get worse if we don't stand up to it now.
