The WAGOP thanks Texas for the stand they are taking along our country's southern border, and the actions they are taking to defend us here in Washington.
Governor Greg Abbott, in just a matter of days, has done more to protect Washington kids and families from the surge of fentanyl and gang-related crimes, than the incompetent Inslee administration has in over a decade.
Yesterday, we distributed a petition link for you to call on Jay Inslee and Bob Ferguson to send resources to Texas to help defend our southern border.
Today, we need your help to sign a second petition to END Washington's status as a "sanctuary state" for illegal immigrants.
This status has put our citizens and cities at risk as the state and federal government continually fail to properly vet individuals entering our cities, and have failed to create a resource plan for these individuals once they are in our cities. New York was forced to shut down school for students, in order to house illegal immigrants on the school floor - this serves no one.
Washington state is already suffering from record fentanyl overdoses, organized crime, and 25,000 individuals living homeless on our streets. Enough is enough!
