After many days of my kids pleading with the universe for SNOW — we got it.

Of course, it happened to be the same day as a scheduled “meet and greet.” (That’s how it always works, right?) But we’ll never miss an opportunity to talk to folks in our district about why this campaign matters if we can help it.

So as I got ready to go, my husband Matt and daughter Evelyn each grabbed a shovel. 💪Weirdly, my oldest daughter, Maelee, disappeared until they had already cleared a path down the driveway. (She told me she was management because she couldn’t find another shovel.)

Needless to say I made it out of the driveway, Evelyn got hot chocolate, and Matt bought another shovel for Maelee.
