Earlier this month, Becca participated in a rally outside the shuttered post office in Montpelier to demand that USPS leadership take action now to open a post office location in the capital city.

Montpelier is currently the only capital city in the entire country without a post office – can you believe it? Montpelier’s previous post office closed in July following the historic flooding, but it’s been months without any updates from USPS leadership.
In the meantime, Montpelier residents have been left without a post office. Lacking a post office is an enormous hardship for seniors, small businesses and members of the community – which is why Becca is demanding that USPS leadership act now.
