25 Governors Unite in Celebration of Texas' Stand for Border Security
Great work showing solidarity with Texas! [ [link removed] ] Now is the time to press for Texas Model Legislation SB4, part of Operation Lone Star, to be passed in these 25 states! Stay tuned.
In a remarkable show of unity, 25 Republican governors have joined forces to celebrate and support Texas Governor Greg Abbott's resolute stand against the Biden administration's border policies. The joint statement, issued by the Republican Governor's Association, applauds Texas's constitutional right to self-defense and expresses full support for the state's use of all available tools, including razor wire fences, to secure its border. [ [link removed] ] They attribute the border challenges to the Biden administration's failure to enforce existing immigration laws and its allowance of mass parole for migrants who entered the country illegally, including a record number of inadmissible aliens intentionally disposing of their passports and identification before entry.
The recent Supreme Court decision allowing the removal of razor wire along a 30-mile stretch near the US-Mexico border in Eagle Pass has further fueled Texas's commitment to securing its boundaries. Governor Abbott, undeterred by federal rulings, proudly asserts Texas's right to self-defense and continues to install razor wire. He highlights the effectiveness of razor wire as a deterrent against illegal border crossings, driven by what he refers to as "Biden's open border policies." This strategic move aims to enhance deterrence and has proven effective, transforming the once daily influx of thousands of illegal border crossings into a mere trickle of dozens since Texas assumed control of Eagle Pass.
The success story unfolding in Eagle Pass highlights the effectiveness of a strategic combination of inexpensive razor wire deployment and a policy shift that rightly identifies illegal aliens crossing the border as criminals who must be deterred, arrested, charged, and returned to their home country. This triumph stands as a stark rebuttal to the narrative pushed by Biden and the Left, refuting claims that the border crisis is merely a budget issue or political maneuvering by the GOP. Instead, it underscores the intentional failure to enforce border laws, resulting in a catastrophic situation that extends far beyond Texas, affecting all 50 states.
When Texas reduces daily illegal crossings from 5,000-10,000 daily to 10 daily, America comes to realize that the Biden-Mayorkas handling of the border is nothing short of criminal. For three years they’ve claimed they are doing everything they can to stop the flow of illegal immigrants.
"A Nation that Cannot Control Its Borders is Not a Nation!"– Ronald Reagan
Individual expressions of support from Republican governors abound, with some pledging resources to aid Texas in combating illegal migrant crossings. Governors like South Dakota's Kristi Noem and Ohio's Mike DeWine have enthusiastically offered to deploy National Guard units and Noem is also including a supply of razor wire, showcasing a nationwide celebration of Texas's proactive approach.
As the clash between Texas and the Biden administration over immigration enforcement reaches new heights, these Republican governors celebrate Texas's defiance. The legal battles, including threats from the Justice Department, underscore the deepening divide. Texas's bold steps, such as busing over 95,000 migrants to sanctuary cities, symbolize a celebration of sovereignty and a commitment to challenging what some view as failed border policies. The rallying cry among these Governors echoes: if President Biden won't defend us, states must celebrate their constitutional right to protect themselves.
