Hey team, it's Ilhan.

In times like these, I like to be as direct as possible: Can I count on you to make your next $25 contribution to our re-election campaign for Congress today?

Let me explain why:

This Wednesday, we're closing the books on our first fundraising deadline of this election year, and we have some important grassroots goals to reach before it ends — goals we need to hit if we're going to have the resources required to run a successful campaign.

Last cycle, our progressive movement went up against an obscene amount of outside spending from the political establishment, dark money super PACs, and right-wing special interests.

Thanks to lots and lots of grassroots donors like you chipping in small amounts when you could, together we overcame the attacks and the people of Minnesota's 5th district re-elected me to my third term.

Here's a simple truth, Brock: Going toe-to-toe with the wealthy and powerful in this country is not easy. It takes a lot of hard work, and nobody can do it all alone.

If we're going to stand strong and win again here in 2024 — against endless attacks, bigoted threats, and potentially millions of dollars in outside spending from groups like AIPAC — it's critical that we're in this together.

That's why I'm asking:

Can you make a contribution — of $25 or any amount you can — to stand with our movement before next week's end-of-month fundraising deadline? I wouldn't be asking if your support weren't so important to our campaign.
