We need your attention on the disturbing human rights abuses carried out by Texas Governor Greg Abbott.
In a reprehensible display of political maneuvering, Governor Abbott has been using vulnerable migrants and asylum-seekers as political pawns.
The most recent incident, occurring on New Year's Eve, involved Abbott flying hundreds of migrants to a frigid Chicago, many inadequately dressed for the harsh weather.
This follows his bold admission of transporting a staggering 95,000 migrants to "Democrat run-cities and states," with a fervent commitment to persist in these actions.

Asylum is not just a legal prerogative; it is a fundamental human right, rooted in the very essence of human dignity.
Abbott's callous exploitation of individuals seeking asylum for political gain is not only morally objectionable but also a blatant affront to their basic rights. His rationale, claiming to send migrants to "sanctuary cities" as a punitive measure, is a thinly veiled attempt to divert attention from the fact that he is willfully disregarding human rights and subjecting vulnerable people to unnecessary trauma.
This cannot be allowed to go unchallenged.
It is imperative that the Department of Justice step in immediately to conduct a thorough investigation into Governor Abbott's human rights abuses. The individuals caught up in the crossfire of his political games deserve justice and protection.
