Free school meals are now available to a wider range of families. Newly signed legislation increases the income limits that qualify students for free breakfast and lunch in the 2024-2025 school year.
All parents should complete a Free and Reduced Meal application for the 2024-2025 school year to see if their children are eligible to receive meals at no cost. Schools offer support with the application process and maintain the confidentiality of students' participation.

Members of the State's NJ FamilyCare health insurance program should call their NJ FamilyCare health plan or 1-800-701-0710 (TTY: 711) to ensure their contact information is up to date.
As required by federal law, representatives of NJ FamilyCare are in the process of contacting members to conduct eligibility reviews. Members should expect to be contacted no later than March 30th, 2024.
