Patriot,
None of us has ever experienced anything like the Coronavirus Pandemic in our lifetime.
But, we have experienced trying times that bring us together. From 9/11 to local tragedies, Americans are known to step up and rise to the occasion when we need it the most.
In the coming days and weeks, a group of Americans are going to need our help the most.
On Friday, I organized ten of my campaign volunteers to donate blood at a local blood bank. You can safely do the same.
As healthcare professionals are overwhelmed with COVID-19, other Americans need our help and the easiest way to assist is by donating blood.
Just click here to find a blood bank near you.
As my blood was drawn, First Lady Melania Trump announced that blood banks around the nation are running low on blood, and she called on healthy Americans to donate as soon as possible.
With the majority of our population in isolation and quarantine, the situation regarding the American blood supply gets worse daily.
The Coronavirus is NOT transmittable through blood, so as long as you’re healthy you can call ahead and schedule a time to avoid any crowds.
And take other healthy household members along with you to make the most of the trip.
Even though we are not door-knocking or petitioning currently for the sake of social distancing, my campaign volunteers are ready to be mobilized on a moment's notice to donate blood and do anything else that is needed to assist our community here in Florida's 21st Congressional District.
Some of my volunteers are hand-sewing CDC-compliant masks which they plan to donate to local health workers.
Thanks again for all that you do and stay tuned for more ways to help others as we work to get through this tough time that is impacting all of us.
Respectfully,
Laura Loomer
P.S. If you live in Florida's 21st Congressional District, make sure to visit my campaign site where we are posting updates about how COVID-19 is impacting Floridians.
