Reflect and Act: International Holocaust Remembrance Day

Dear John,

Tomorrow, on International Holocaust Remembrance Day, we join together to honor the memory of the six million Jews and countless others who suffered unimaginable horrors during the Holocaust. This day is a solemn reminder of the atrocities that can arise from hatred and intolerance, and it reinforces our commitment to ensuring such darkness never descends again.

While deployed to West Berlin in the 90s, I was able to see the devastation and impacts of the Holocaust. The world cannot forget, or we’re liable to repeat the horrors of inhumanity. Our campaign is dedicated to upholding the lessons of the Holocaust, promoting understanding and acceptance, and fighting against all forms of discrimination and bigotry.
