To refresh your memory, they foolishly sided with the Biden administrationās policy allowing Border Patrol agents to slash through Texasā razor wire installed along the most dangerous areas of the southern border.

As far as Iām concerned, Texas leaders have no other choice. Our federal government has all but abandoned our border statesāleaving them to fend for themselves in the middle of a nightmare that is getting worse by the day.

Like so many others, Iāve expressed my support for Texas Governor Greg Abbot, encouraging him to hold the lineāand now Iām co-sponsoring a bill that will help.

Representative Mike Collins (R-Ga.) is leading the charge for us, introducing the Restricting Administration Zealots from Obliging Raiders (RAZOR) Act. It would ban the government from trashing any state-constructed barrier thatās being used to keep illegal immigrants out of this countryāand thatās exactly how it should be.

Governor Abbottās actions arenāt political theater; theyāre a desperate attempt to do his dadgum job and protect his citizens from an invasion of massive proportions. I plan on standing firmly to ensure he has what he needs to fight for his stateās sovereignty.
