In 2022, Michigan voters passed Proposal 3, enshrining the right to reproductive freedom in our constitution. 

The ballot initiative passed by 13 points because Michiganders understand that women have the right to make their own healthcare decisions, not a bunch of judges and politicians. 

That was an important victory, but our fight isn't over. 

If Donald Trump defeats Joe Biden and Republicans win Congress, they will ban abortion in America.

If that happens, everything that we and 21 other states have done to protect reproductive freedom and abortion access won’t matter. 

Our job as Democrats is clear in November. That’s why I’m hoping you’ll stand with me today and make a contribution to the Michigan Democratic Party. With a strong party, we can build a winning grassroots strategy to help Democrats win, but we can’t do it without your support.
