It may come as no surprise that Washington Democrats have introduced alarming new bills, including House Bill 2030, which would allow felons – even Green River Killer Gary Ridgeway – to vote, and House Bill 2001, which reduces sentences for felons.

And earlier this week, Democrats passed House Bill 1589 in their push to ban natural gas, directly impacting our daily lives.

Now is the time to act – comment against these bills here: HB2030HB1589, and HB2001. The first legislative deadline is approaching on January 31st, and we need your support to ensure that bills like these are stopped.

Washington Democrats have crossed a line that we cannot ignore. In a shocking move, Washington Democrats introduced House Bill 2030, which would grant felons in prison – including notorious serial killer Gary Ridgway – the right to vote and serve on a jury. We are not making this up – the bill’s Far-Left sponsor admitted her criminals-first approach would extend even to the Green River Killer.

Friends,

Washington Democrats have crossed a line that we cannot ignore.

In a shocking move, Washington Democrats introduced House Bill 2030, which would grant felons in prison – including notorious serial killer Gary Ridgway – the right to vote and serve on a jury. We are not making this up – the bill’s Far-Left sponsor admitted her criminals-first approach would extend even to the Green River Killer.

And this is just one of the many outrageous and out-of-touch bills Democrat legislators have brought forward in the first month of the 2024 legislative session.

This week, State House Democrats passed House Bill 1589 as their next step in banning natural gas in our state. If this bill passes the Senate, it would prohibit gas companies, particularly Puget Sound Energy (PSE), from connecting new natural gas lines to new construction. PSE would also no longer be obligated to provide natural gas service to existing customers. This is an unprecedented intrusion into our everyday lives.

But perhaps most egregiously, Democrats seem to have adopted a mantra during this legislative session – "If you can’t let them vote, then just let them out." Since their goal of allowing serial killers to vote may be slipping away, they've also introduced House Bill 2001, which would mean sentence reductions for current prisoners, by ignoring previous criminal activity that liberals no longer consider criminal.

It's not too late to voice your opposition to these bills. The first legislative deadline is approaching on January 31st, and your support can help ensure that bills like these are stopped. You can voice your opposition by officially commenting against these bills here: HB2030HB1589, and HB2001.
