Trump’s Agriculture Department is trying to move forward with food stamp
changes that could force hundreds of thousands of Americans off of the
program.

Luckily, a federal judge stepped up and put a stop to those changes that
would have taken effect on April 1.

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, otherwise known as SNAP, is
the largest federal nutrition assistance program that provides benefits to
eligible low-income individuals and families must be protected during this
pandemic.
