People in rural Kansas need advocates in the state legislature, and their values fall more out of line with the far-right Supermajorities' agenda by the day.
Things like the expansion of Medicaid and high-speed internet, child-care tax credits for working families and fully funded public education should be the focus, not the unproductive and dangerous policy fights led by extremists in the legislature.
We can make progress, but there's still more grassroots organizing and coalition building to be done – and the Kansas Dems are taking it seriously.
