| Fellow Patriot,
I’m humbly asking you for your endorsement and support today.
I am an Army Veteran and a current Member of Congress in the free state of Florida. The Left wants me to quit and give up my fight, but we all know I’d never do that.
Before being elected, I spent 12 years in the U.S. Army, including working under the Joint Special Operations Command. I served in Afghanistan, where I worked as a bomb disposal expert clearing safe paths for my fellow soldiers pushing into Taliban territory.
The last bomb I discovered was in September 2010. We had just acquired the location of a high-value target and were moving in under the cover of darkness when a bomb exploded beneath me, causing the loss of both my legs and my left index finger.
I woke up several days later in Walter Reed Army Medical Center wondering what I was going to do next. I won’t lie and tell you it was easy because it wasn’t.
I realized I needed to find a new battlefield to serve on. So from there, I learned to walk again, graduated from Harvard, and won my election to Congress as a Republican in Florida.
Despite the metal legs, I’m not all that different from you. We’re both just people who love America. We both see what’s going on in our country right now: open borders, soaring inflation, the indoctrination of our children — and the list goes on. That’s why I’m emailing you right now.
You and I together can turn our country back around and restore it to its former glory. I truly believe that.
I’ve seen what can happen when Americans band together. To be blunt, I’d be dead if my fellow soldiers hadn’t run toward that explosion where I lost my legs. I relied on them in Afghanistan to save my life, and now I need to rely on you as we work together to defend liberty and freedom here at home. Can I count on you to have my six?
Your support means more than you know. We’re in this together.
