*OJJDP Administrator Liz Ryan To Hold Next Monthly Call Today*

OJJDP Administrator Update

Join OJJDP Administrator Liz Ryan for the next monthly?Webex call [ [link removed] ], "Today in Juvenile Justice: Administrator Update," to be held on Friday, January ?26, 2024, at 1 p.m. ET. During these calls, Administrator Ryan will provide a brief update to stakeholders on current OJJDP activities and juvenile justice issues.

OJJDP grantees, youth justice advocates, criminal and juvenile justice professionals, law enforcement officials, prosecutors and youth defenders, and the public are invited to attend. During this month?s call, Administrator Ryan will highlight OJJDP?s three priorities and what the Office accomplished in 2023 to address them.?These priorities are:


* Treat children as children.
* Serve children at home, with their families, and in their communities.
* Open up opportunities for system-involved youth.

Administrator Ryan will also discuss OJJDP?s focus on racial equity and fairness, including the new Center for Reducing Racial and Ethnic Disparities in Juvenile Justice.?

Participants will not be able to ask questions during the call but can submit a question in advance via?this online form [ [link removed] ].

This month?s call is expected to be longer than previous Administrator calls.
