Our whole team is working hard to meet our $210,000 January online fundraising goal. Anna, my Finance Director, asked me to reach out to let you know where we are so far:

• Thousands of grassroots donors have stepped up to give in January — pitching in an average of $31 on text messages & emails like this one.
• As our last financial filing shows, 88% of donations to our campaign are $100 or less.
• With 5 days left in January, we’re still about $55,866 short of our projected target for the month.

John, I know I’ve said this before, but I’ll say it as many times as it takes. Falling short of any of our goals would be bad news in a race as close as ours. My extremist opponents are on the lookout for any sign of weakness.
